Gladstone Dock is a major wet dock on the River Mersey in Bootle, Liverpool, England, forming part of the Port of Liverpool’s northern dock system. It was constructed between the early 1900s and completed in 1927, originally designed to handle the era’s largest trans-Atlantic passenger liners and cargo ships and equipped with extensive quays and deep water access.
